Subtract elements from selection in AUTOCAD

In AUTOCAD sometimes we have to select multiple items at once to copy, move, or just delete them. Often mistakenly sometimes we select an element that does not interest us. How can we subtract that item to the selection preserving the remaining selected items?

If you do not have many items added to the selection we can use the key ESC to deselect all items, although this method has the disadvantage of having to start over the entire selection .

There is a much more useful and effective. When we added a wrong item to a selection to deselect it should only return to click on it while holding down the SHIFT key .

If we hold down this key all the elements on which we click subtracting from the entire selection.

To return to select objects only have to stop pressing SHIFT and we can re-add items to the selection normally.

I hope you have served help and do not forget that if you have any questions, concerns, comments, suggestions, etc.. do not hesitate to comment, try to help where we can.
