Match Properties object in AUTOCAD

Sometimes in AUTOCAD need to apply the properties of an object (color, line type, etc..) To other objects. To avoid having to go modifying the properties of each object one to one we can use the "match properties".

The command "ip" is one of the most useful commands in AutoCAD even though you do not have hot button, so that many users are unaware of the program.

This command allows us to apply the characteristics or properties of an element (line, text, shading ...) we choose "reference" to other elements of "destiny."

Use this command is very easy, we just follow these steps:

- First we write in the command bar "ip" and press the ENTER key.

- Then select the item "reference", ie that element whose characteristics or properties we want to apply to other objects.

- The mouse pointer icon will appear as follows:

- And finally just have to select the elements of "destination", ie those who want to apply the properties of the "reference" chosen above.

I hope you have been helpful and not forget that if you have any questions, concerns, comments, suggestions, etc. do not hesitate to comment, try to help where we can.

We apologize for the quality of automatic translation. We appreciate any corrections they deem appropriate readers and try to correct it immediately.

* Some details are not accurate due to different versions of the program currently on the market.
